China theme sensory activities

To bring China theme to a close, we have been exploring Chinese staple food, mainly rice and noodles in the last weeks.

We cooked and tasted noodles. The children were very focused and determined to eat noodles using chopsticks. Its great for motor skills practice while having lots of fun at it.

We painted our initial alphabet of our names while standing at easel boards. Thereafter,we explored with different textures of rice and noodles to glue them in. This was a great opportunity for their small motor control and hand-eye coordination efforts.
